Mrs. Harry C. Masimore
NEW FREEDOM – Mrs. Amy Brenneman Masimore, 77, wife of Harry C. Masimore, New Freedom RD 1, died Friday at 9:15 p.m. at Rest Haven-York.
A life-time area resident, she was born at Larue, a daughter of the late Henry and Agnes Markel Brenneman. She was last employed as a cook at Hughes Restaurant.
Mrs. Masimore was a member of Ladies' Auxiliary of Rose Fire Co. and of Group 18, Society of Farm Women.
Also surviving are seven children, Mrs. Carl E. Boeckel, 64 Dewdrop Road, York; Mrs. James C. Keiser, Airville RD 1; Charles E. and Stewart M. Bailey, both of Glen Rock; Mrs. Glenn R. Whorl, Glen Rock RD 2; Henry E. Masimore, Warren, Ohio, and James B. Masimore, Shrewsbury; 22 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Lucabaugh, Glen Rock RD 1, and a brother, Archie Brenneman, Dallastown.
Carl E. Boeckel, of South-York Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, son-in-law of Mrs. Masimore, will officiate at funeral services today at 2 p.m. at the Hartenstein Mortuary. Burial will be in Shaffer's Union Cemetery, Seven Valleys RD 1.
