David "Dave" Arthur Morse, Sr., 69, of Tremont, passed away at 10:33 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 in the Emergency Room at UnityPoint Health - Pekin.
Born March 18, 1952 in Peoria to Ward H. and Ethel P. (Uttenhove) Morse, he married Sandra Kay Cox on October 14, 1978 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, one son, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Bryan Morse.
Dave had worked at Caterpillar, Inc. in East Peoria as a machinist for 40-plus years and was a member of the UAW Local 974.
A jack-of-all-trades, Dave enjoyed working on cars, riding his Harley Davidson, working on houses and farming. His greatest enjoyment was spending quality time with his family.
Dave attended Days of Grace Fellowship in Morton.
Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
