A. Wesley Walker Sr., 81 of Silver Springs, Florida, passed away at Hospice with his companion of 17 years, Rita Getchell by his side.
In addition to Rita, Wes is survived by his 3 children: Trudy Walker Paxton, Denita Walker Gipson, and Wes Walker Jr. (Sherry). He also has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is the son of late Roscoe and Mami Clark Walker. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky.
Wes worked at Norfolk Southern Railroad from 1968 until 1998. He retired after 30 years.
When he retired he moved to Silver Springs, Florida. He enjoyed motor cycling, boating, and going to the car races. Wes also enjoyed watching and feeding birds.
Wes will be truly missed by his family and friends, especially his companion Rita Getchell.
