Jasper "Jack" Halcomb, 85, of Danville, passed away December 15th, 2021. He was born in Leatherwood, Kentucky on March 1st, 1936 to parents Roy and Eva (Pratt) Halcomb.

Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. He was a valued member of the Masonic Lodge and The Shriners.

Jack was a very hard worker. He worked as a forklift dye setter for Chevrolet Truck and Bus for many years before retiring in 2000.

Jack was a strong, loving gentleman. He loved being outdoors, fishing, and hunting. A lifelong sports fan, Jack enjoyed watching and attending baseball and football games, specifically the UK Wildcats. Jack also really liked horse races. He would travel all around the country to racetracks. He enjoyed going to casinos, and in his younger years, loved to travel.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jack is survived by his Life Companion Mildred Halcomb; Children Randall Halcomb and Rhonda (Brett) Ramp; grandchildren; great grandchild; sisters Gladys Geralds, Shirley Elmore, Dorothy McNulty, Mary Burgess, and Beulah Barger; and one surviving brother Lundy Halcomb.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings Clyde, Allie, Jessie, and James.
