Guy Ferguson, 76 of Delmar Dies Suddenly
Funeral Services were conducted on November 5 at 2:30 pm. at the Shady Grove Schoolhouse by Rev. J.E. Stanphill for Guy Ferguson, aged 76, died suddenly Monday, November 3 at his home near Delmar, Ark.
Mr. Ferguson was born in Beloit, Wis. ,April 22, 1876. At the age of six, he moved with his parents to Nashville, MO. where he lived 52 years, before moving to Hill Top in 1943, living in that vicinity since.
Mr. Ferguson was the father of 14 children, ten of whom are still living. Survivors include his wife, Gertie Bell; his children, Marion, Orville, Luther, Merle and Eula Faye all of the home, Miss Viola Ferguson, Mrs. Emylee Alford of Delmar, Mrs. Avanelle Myers of Sarasota, Fla., Oliver G. Ferguson of Nashville, Mo., Vanita Williams of San Diego, Calif. and several grandchildren.
Interment was made in the Shady Grove cemetery.
