My interest in genealogy began in late 2013, as I sought to continue the family tree research started by my father and his cousins some 20 years ago. I live in the Chicago area, but research primary the Cumberland Gap area, Northwest Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

I am a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (through my Patriot Ancestor John Bailey of VA and KY), the National Genealogical Society, Texas State Historical Association, Alamo Defenders Descendants Association, Arkansas Historical Association, Kentucky Historical Society, Pennington Research Association and various County Historical Societies.

I have successfully used DNA in combination with traditional primary source material to uncover, verify and confirm family lines.

I am the author of "The Fugitives - John L. Lee of Carroll County, Arkansas and Eli C. Teel of Van Zandt County, Texas " available on Amazon for Kindle and in print edition via
