James W Hamilton, 73, of Cemetery Road, Waynesburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the V.A. Hospital in Lexington.

A Native of Tallahassee, TN., he was born Oct. 15, 1922 to the late James Porter Hamilton and Della Centers Hamilton. He was an Independent brick layer, a member of the Church Of God Prophecy and the Caswell Saufley Post #18 VFW, and a veteran of WW II and the Korean War.

Survivors include a son Jimmy Lynn Hamilton of Waynesburg; one step daughter, Dianne Kraemer of Cincinnati, Oh; five brothers, Alexander Hamilton of Indiana Lake, Fl., Paul Hamilton of Science Hill, Roy Hamilton of Waynesburg, Herman Hamilton of Somerset, and Kenneth Hamilton of Waynesburg: two sisters, Bonnie Goodin of Waynesburg and Sue Hamilton of Waynesburg; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening at the Barnett and Demrow Funeral home. Visitation Friday will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Church of God of Prophecy.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy in Waynesburg with Bro. Jack Carter officiating. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.

Military service rites will be held by the Caswell Saufley Post #18.
