Maysville - Dorothy Q. Humphries of Maysville, KY passed away peacefully in Bixby, Oklahoma, after a long battle with Dementia and Alzheimer's surrounded by loved ones on October 31, 2021 at 6:47 p.m.

Dorothy was born July 15, 1937 in Vanceburg to the late Fred and Lucy Ervin Carrington.

She lived a long life devoting many, many years to establishing and working in her restaurant, "Malone's Restaurant" on Forest Ave in Maysville. She was so loved by her community and there wasn't a person she wouldn't help. We know that Heaven is celebrating since she entered the "Pearly Gates",

Survivors include her son, Harley Durham of Maysville; her niece, Michele Dillow of South Point, Ohio; her daughter-in-law Melissa Malone of Bixby, Oklahoma; her granddaughters, Andrea Heck and family of Bixby and Jessica Males and family of Glenpool, Oklahoma; and a host of friends she loved like family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Larry Malone; husband, Orville Humphries; brothers, Gayle Carrington and Eugene "Gene" Carrington.

A funeral service will be held for Dorothy Humphries at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday November 10, 2021 at Brell and Son Funeral Home.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Dorothy will be laid to rest in Washington Baptist Cemetery.
