Harold Ray Ritter, son of Charles Rudolph Ritter and Esther Pauline Rodehorst Ritter, was born on December 11, 1927 and passed away on October 27, 2021 at Hillcrest Millard.

Harold grew up on the family farm south of Pleasanton, NE. He attended school at Sunflower Grade School and Pleasanton High School.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Occupation Forces of Japan following World War II.

He was married to Elizabeth Marie One, and they were the parents of six children, Bruce Rodney, Brenda Rae, Billy Reese, Bradley Rodger, Beth Rene and Barbara Rochelle.

During his working years Harold was the owner and operator of Ritter Oil Company and Tank Wagon Service of Pleasanton and later worked at Rockwell and Eaton Corporation in Kearney, NE.
