Dorothea "Dode" Apsey, 77, of 368 Dayton St. died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at St. Mary Medical Center.
Born June 7, 1915, in Freeport to William John and Florence Nichols Hall, she married Fred W. Apsey Jr. on Sept. 20, 1941, in Galesburg. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Fred W. III of Matteson and Stephen H. of Galesburg; one daughter, Diane Kappus of Glenview; one brother, Arthur Hall of Davenport, Iowa; and two sisters, Esther Yount of Dixon and Mary Ertel of Rushville, Ind. Her twin sister preceded her in death.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
