ESTHER L. CHANDLER-WAMPLER, 96, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:00 am, Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home, Chester, Illinois.
She was born to the late Treffie and Lily May (nee Giles) Wisdom on November 3, 1924.
Esther married James Clyde Chandler in 1942; he preceded her in death on August 18, 1986. She then married Ancel Wampler on June 17, 1990; he survives.
She was a homemaker.
Esther was a member of Family Worship Center in Chester but also attended Apostolic Pentecostal Church. Her faith in God remained strong throughout her life.
