Faye was born February 14, 1926, in Oates, Missouri, to Treffie and Lilly (Giles) Wisdom. She married the love of her life, Howard Chandler, on November 19, 1941, in Steelville, Missouri. They shared sixty-six years of marriage until his death in 2008.
Faye was well known for her incredible quilt-making talent. She gifted her children and grandchildren with beautiful quilts.
She was preceded in death by parents, Treffie and Lilly Wisdom; husband, Howard Chandler; children: infant Harold Chandler, Doris Dunlap, Donald Chandler, and Stanley Chandler; siblings: infant Eva, infant Curtis, infant Carl, infant Virgil, infant Lawrence, Bobby, Clyde, and Billy; half-siblings: Brenda, Michael, and Jerry; grandsons, Chris Chandler and Dennis Pryor; great grandchildren, Jenna Chandler and Seth Sanders; great-great grandson, Tucker Rutledge; daughter-in-law, Cathy Chandler; and son-in-law, Edward Dunlap.
Faye is survived by three daughters, five sons, four sisters, five half-sisters, four half-brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
