The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Wednesday morning, August 1, 2007, at eleven o'clock. Burial will follow in Christ-St. Paul's Episcopal Churchyard. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, this Tuesday afternoon from six until seven o'clock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ-St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery Fund, 4981 Chapel Road, Hollywood, SC 29449 or Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 5412, Hwy. 165, Hollywood, SC 29449.
Mrs. Bair was born February 10, 1914 in Meggett, South Carolina, daughter of Thomas W. and Martha Behling Messervy. Mrs. Bair was a 1932 Graduate of St. Paul's High School, member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Life Member of the Eastern Star Carolina Chapter #25, and loving friend to everyone and will be missed. Surviving are a son, Reeves Bryant Bair, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Judy of Meggett; a daughter, Addie B. (Boot) Golden and son-in-law, Neal (Jimmy) of Meggett; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Bair Wells of North Charleston. Nana also had nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Addie is preceeded in death by a son, Thomas Arthur Bair and a daughter, Hilmer Bair Jenkins and her husband, D.F. Jenkins, Jr. Mrs. Bair was the last survivor of twelve siblings.
