Charles Ray Ainsworth Sr. of Hankamer passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Houston Methodist Hospital in Baytown. He was 69.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Abshire cemetery in Devers with Reverend Len Shoemaker officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday, August 30, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Faith & Family Chapel.
A native of Anahuac, Charles had lived in Hankamer most of his life and was an oilfield worker for Hershel Oilfield Services.
Charles was a Christian man wonderful husband, father, and " Paw Paw." God and his family was the most important thing in his life. He enjoyed his animals, his tractor, and farming. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Monroe Ainsworth and Fannie Marie Norris.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years Cynthia Ainsworth of Hankamer; sons, Charles Ray Ainsworth Jr. and wife Brandi of Dayton, and Brian Eugene Ainsworth of Hankamer. Daughters, Windy Holder and husband Lloyd of Hankamer, April Ainsworth and spouse Stephanie of Orange, and brother, JD Ainsworth of Hankamer. Grandchildren: 9 and great-grandchild: 1.
