Born July 11, 1943, in Randolph County, Kenneth was the son of the late Guy Kenneth and Mattie Pauline Frazier Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Biddy, and brothers, Farrell, Darrell, and Barry Brewer. Kenneth was a former producer for Fox 8/WGHP. He later worked for Central State Bank and retired from High Point Bank. He was a charter member of Covenant Church United Methodist where he was active in the Methodist Men and served on several committees in the church. He was also a member of the Y's Men with the High Point YMCA, and served as the Chairman of the High Point Fire Department Relief Fund Board.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of almost 31 years, Karen Holland Brewer; three sons, Justin Kenneth Brewer and fiancée, Suzanne Corbin, of Cary, and Darren Taylor Brewer and wife, Nancy, of Raleigh, and Keith Biddy and wife, Tara, of High Point; seven grandchildren, Caroline Brewer, Will Brewer, Rainey Brewer, Guy Brewer, Gage Biddy and fiancée, Leah Cramer, Sydney Biddy and Maggie Biddy; and two sisters, Donna Brewer and Sheila Shively.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 28th, at Covenant Church United Methodist, officiated by Rev. Darren Alexander. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.
