Retha Pearl Brown, 89, of Hookstown, passed away in her home. She was born in Hacker Valley, WV and was a daughter of William and Luverna Ware Collins. Retha was a lifelong homemaker who greeted all guests in her home with a hug and something to eat or drink. She was Methodist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester L Brown; daughters Hazel Ruth (Olen) Moats and Martha Joy (Elbert) Allison, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her children, 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Her parents are Wm Edward Collins and Laverna Ann Ware.
