Louise Guffey King, 93, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday evening, August 18, 2021 at the family residence.

Mrs. King was born in Riceville, Tennessee and she was the daughter of the late Lois Underwood Guffey and Henry Guffey. Her former husband, Leonard King, sister, Alice Guffey Womac and brothers, Hardin, Paul, Vernon, Spence, Junior and Warren "Sparky" Guffey also preceded her in death.

Mrs. King worked as a waitress for more than 20 years. She enjoyed quilting and was known for her servants heart. She would give away anything she had to help someone and nobody ever went hungry when she was around. Mrs. King attended the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Pattie Young (Don), Cleveland, son, Steven King, Benton, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Per Mrs. Kings request, the Remembrance of Life Graveside service and Interment will be conducted on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11 A. M. at the Guffey-Shell Family Cemetery in Athens with family members officiating. Family and friends will serve as casket bearers. The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
