Randy William Ingle, 74, of Clarksville, Iowa was born to William and Irene (Franke) Ingle on April 30, 1947, at Floyd County Memorial Hospital, in Charles City. He was baptized into the Christian faith at the First Presbyterian Church in Greene and was later confirmed at Community UMC in Clarksville. He graduated Clarksville High School in 1965.

Randy had worked at Voss Milling Company and Hank Bruhn's DX Station in Clarksville, Peck & Lund John Deere Implement in Waverly, Iowa, Behnke family farms in Garner and Winnebago in Forest City.

He later moved to Las Vegas where he attended and graduated at community college. In 1981, he started working for the government as a contractor for a Nevada test site. During this time, he worked a year and half both in Sudan and Somalia, Africa. He retired and moved back to Clarksville in 2012.

Randy was a member of Community United Methodist Church. As a child he enjoyed being a member of the Clarksville Cub Scout Pack 53. In his later years he enjoyed collecting John Deere, A&W and Rath antiques. He enjoyed fishing, especially for trout in Decorah. He loved when his nieces and nephews visited, often making his favorite monster cookie bars or going to his favorite restaurant, the Golden Coral. Randy was a kid at heart and got along with all children, teasing and joking with them.

Randy passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Waverly Health Center of acute respiratory failure.

He was preceded in by his parents; two great nephews, Elijah and Jacob; and one brother-in-law, Edward Rondthaler.

Randy is survived by two sisters: Carolyn Rondthaler of Cedar City, UT and Glenda ("Red" Randy) Schell of Clarksville; four nieces and nephews: Bill Greenwald, Becky (Tony) Ferrara, Angie (Kyle) Haack, Dan (Kim) Schell; eight great nieces and nephews: Ben, Hanna, Olivia, Frankie, Zachary, Alyssa, Kennedy, and Addison; and two great-great nieces and nephews: Calista and Charlie.

Graveside Service will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2021, at Lynwood Cemetery in Clarksville. Visitation will be 11:00-1:00 on Friday at Redman Funeral & Cremation Services in Clarksville, (319) 278-4245 Memorials may be directed to the family.
