Mr. and Mrs. Otis Buckingham, near Mount Airy, have received official information of the death of their son, Jennings A. Buckingham, 21, in France. He was wounded in action September 6 and died the following day. He enlisted in the One Hundred and Ninth Infantry and was attached to the Signal Corps.
