William W. Scott, 80, of Frankfort, IN, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his home. He was born in Frankfort, IN on June 23, 1941 to Ivory Warren Scott and Leona Marie (Johnson) Scott. He married Frances A. Myers in 1960; she preceded him in death on November 15, 1990. He then married Polly Sweet; they later divorced but remained friends.

Bill attended Frankfort Schools and worked as a tool & die maker for Federal Mogul for 30 years, of which he was a foreman for 20 years, before retiring in 1996. He then worked for the City of Frankfort Parks Department for four years. His interests included coon hunting and trapping. He also enjoyed woodworking and made everything from furniture to miniatures.

Bill is survived by two sons; three brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers - Roy, Harold, Don and Bob Scott; and one sister, Barbara Eldridge.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. The funeral service will be at 10 AM on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.
