Funeral services for John "J.N." Crocker, 88, of Calhoun, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 30, 2021, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe with Pastor Chris Witt and Pastor Dallas Witt officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
J.N. was born June 15, 1933, and passed away July 27, 2021.
J.N. was a member of Life Church in Ruston, LA. He served in the United States Army and was a retired carpenter and known as a "jack of all trades". J.N. loved to play volleyball and enjoyed watching his great-grandkids play ball. He also liked riding his motorcycle in years gone by.
J.N. was preceded in death by his parents, Laney Nichlos Crocker and Myrtle Roan Crocker; brothers, Willis Crocker, Horace Crocker, and Orval Crocker; sister, Lylia Crocker McLure.
J.N. is survived by his wife, Hazel Louise Purdy Crocker; daughters; Anna C. Holman (Scott), Donna L. Crocker and Janice C. Wyrick (Billy); sister Juliette Crocker Lewis; grandchildren; Jamie M. Roach Freeman (Jay), Nick B. Roach (Rachel), Kerie N. Sims (Matt) and Rachel Blakey; great-grandchildren Gabe Graham, Shelby Freeman, Halei Sims, Tyler Roach, Jacob Freeman, Mackenzie Roach, Waylon Ogg, and Weston Sams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Frankie Tanner, Tommy Kountz, Donnie Grubbs, Blue Blakey, Nick Roach, Jay Freeman, Gabe Graham, Tyler Roach, and Jacob Freeman.
