Crocker Rites Scheduled
Laney Nicholas Crocker, 75, of Calhoun died today at his residence following a brief illness Services will be at 3 p m Friday at Calhoun Assembly of God Church with the Rev James Mooney and the Rev Hollis Ables officiating. Burial will be at the Beulah Cemetery at Calhoun under the direction of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home of West Monroe.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun and a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Calhoun Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs Myrtle Crocker of Calhoun; four sons, Willis Crocker and Horace Crocker, both of West Monroe, Orval Crocker and John Crocker, both of Calhoun, two daughters, Mrs Juliette Lewis and Mrs Lylia McLure, both of Calhoun; three brothers, Haney Crocker of Calhoun, Elery Crocker of West Monroe and J L Crocker of Monroe, three sisters, Mrs Ida Walters of Calhoun, Mrs Zelma Tilley of Monroe and Mrs Ethel Pilcher of Choudrant; 15 grand children, seven great­ grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be J. W. Russell, Reese Russell, James Finkley, Earl Purdy, William Bearden and W. C Rawls.
