Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Emfield, 89, life-long resident of Baltimore (Basil) died Saturday, 7pm in Doctors Hospital, Columbus, following several weeks illness. Mr. Emfield was a New York Central foreman for 52 years. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Winnifred Price of Columbus, Mrs. Betty Roberts of Baltimore, one son, Elmer (Emfield) of Toledo, three grandchildren, two great-grand children, one brother, Charles (Emfield) of Long Beach, California, one sister, Mrs. Laura (Emfield) Spitler of Canton, Ohio. Funeral services were held today at 1pm at the A.E. Johnson Memorial Funeral Home, Baltimore, with the Rev. R.L. Dunlap officiating. Burial in Old Basil Cemetery. (23 Dec. 1961).
