Jeannie Hassert Williamson was born on June 23, 1818 in New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey. Her parents were Douw Ditmars Willamson Sr. and Mary Ann Abeel. Jeannie married Cornelius Tiers Nostrand (son of Foster Nostrand and Christiana Tiers) on November 1, 1837. They had two children named Christiana Tiers Nostrand and Mary Joanna Nostrand. Jeannie died on October 11, 1903.
