Rites were conducted by the Rev. Lea Joyner and the Rev. Jim Saunder from the Kidder-Cox chapel. Interment was in the Oak Grove cemetery under direction of Kidder-Cox.
A long-time and well-known resident of the area, Mrs. Campbell is survived by two sons, Russell Campbell, of Pioneer, Travis Campbell, of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Rainey, of Cottondale, Ala., and Mrs. Mattie Rainey, of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Roy Head, of Pioneer, and Marshall Head, of West Monroe; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers, all nephews, were Edward Clinton, Jewel, Jimmy and A. R. Head, and Stanley Rainey.
