Funeral services for Albert Russell Campbell, 85, Pioneer, were held in the Oak Grove Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. R. L. Clayton, pastor, officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Grove cemetery with masonic rites conducted by members of the Pioneer lodge No. 340, F. and A. M., of which he was a member.

Mr. Campbell, a resident of Pioneer for the past 55 years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. J. Colvin, Baton Rouge, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dora Head Campbell; two sons, Travis O. Campbell, Washington, D.C., and Albert Russell Campbell, Jr. Pioneer; one daughter; two brothers, John P. Campbell, Oak Grove, and T. I. Campbell, Angola; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie McGrew, Oak Grove, and Mrs. Ada Vaughn, Oak Grove.

Final arrangements were under the direction of the Catron-Gay Funeral home.
