Kenneth "Kenny" H. Bennett, 77, of Cowden, IL, passed away at 5:36 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Kenny was born on October 1, 1943, one of seven sons, to Thomas Myron and Ada May (Horath) Bennett. Kenny and Vivian McFall were married on July 26, 1963 and were blessed with three beautiful daughters: Kim, Dana and Tricia and 27 years of marriage before her passing on December 15, 1990. Kenny and Brenda Wall were united in holy matrimony on March 20, 2004 and were blessed with 17 years of marriage.

Much of his life Kenny worked multiple jobs simultaneously. He worked for Oliver Corporation, Francis Evans Feed and Fertilizer, Farmed and World Color Press retiring in 2003. After retiring, he worked part-time for Schlanser Trucking and Excavating in Cowden. Kenny loved his farm, hunting birds, deer and especially mushrooms. He was well known as an expert mechanic. His specialty was fixing up old hammers. Kenny was a member of the First Christian Church of Cowden and affiliated with the Free Methodist Church of Cowden. He was adored by everyone and was always ready to lend a hand. Kenny was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his lovely wife, Brenda Bennett of Cowden; daughters: Kim (Dave) Logan of Marion, IA, Dana (Greg) Jones of Herrick and Tricia (Chad) Knolhoff of Irvington; grandchildren: Dex (Alyse) Wehrle, Lacey (Zak Bierman) Kirkendoll, Kassi (Lee) Bragg, Lindsey Jones, Quincy Knolhoff and Kade Jones; ten great-grandchildren; brothers: Thomas Conrad Bennett and Henry Bennett; sisters-in-law: Barb Bennett, Cheryl Wall and Debbie (Monte) Summers; "The Boys" Toddie Moore and Mark Schlanser and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents; infant child; brothers: Homer, Harvey, Myron and Ernie; nephew, Ernie William Bennett; niece, Pamela Himes and in-laws, Junior and Joyce Wall.
