Thomas married Delois Akin on June 1, 1958 in Amarillo.
TC proudly served in the United States Air Force. After his honorable discharge, he worked hard as a farmer and rancher, a truck driver, and he enjoyed restoring Chevy cars. Thomas had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh.
Tom was preceded by his wife, Delois Bennett; his parents, Thomas and Ada Bennett; a granddaughter, Jessica, and his brothers, Homer Hoarth, Myron, Ernie, Kenny, and Harvey Bennett.
Thomas is survived by three daughters, Sherri Aylor, and husband Jim, Michel Roberts and husband Russell, and Joy Ferguson and husband Gene; and one son, Tom Bennett and wife Sandy; nine grandkids, and eleven great-grandkids. He is also survived by his brother, Henry Bennett; sisters-in-law, Carla Stevens, Barbara Bennett and Brenda Bennett, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
