Ada Bennett, 92, of Cowden, died at 10:15 a.m. Monday (July 28, 1997) at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Wallace & Carroll Funeral Home, Herrick, with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Cowden.
She was born July 17, 1905, in Elliotstown, the daughter of Conrad and Mary Ann Strop North. She married Thomas M. Bennett in 1936 and he died in 1983.
Surviving are sons, Myron, Ernie and Kenneth Bennett, all of Cowden, Henry and Harvey Bennett, both of Beecher City, and Tom Bennett of Amarillo, Texas; 27 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one so, three brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Bennett worked at home as a homemaker. She was a member of Cowden Christian Church.
