Mrs. Betty Lou Rumble, 79, of Middleburg, Fla., passed away Thursday, October 11, 2007. She was born on October 11, 1928, in Carsonville, Mich., to Clair and Vera Bopra. She was the owner of a drapery business and was a member of Carsonville United Methodist Church. She moved to Middleburg from Michigan 14 months ago. She was a hardworking woman who enjoyed bowling, camping, gardening and flowers. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Hazel Bopra. Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, James J. Rumble; daughter, Cheryl R. Starnes (Noel C.); brothers, William Bopra (Ellen) and Gene Bopra (Ethel); sisters, Myrtle Rhead, Margie O'Connell (Robert) and Marion Kenny (Doug); grandchildren, Cheree N. Deese (Jeffrey) and Jessica L. Starnes and great-granddaughter, Abigail Paige Deese. Graveside services were held Saturday, October 13 at Middleburg United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Roger B. Moore officiating. Pallbearers were Jeff and Jimmy Deese, Joe Geiger, Noel Starnes, Joey Lagavilee and Gary Torres. Honorary pallbearers were Bruce and Skipper Starnes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Middleburg United Methodist Church, 3925 Main St., Middleburg, FL 32068
