Ralph Eward, 81, a native of Greensburg, died Friday May 16, 1986, as he was being flown from Acapulco, Mexico, to his home in Ft. Lauderderdale, Fla., after becoming ill while traveling.
Born in Greensburg, he was the son of Clarence and Roxanna Thornburg Eward. An accomplished musician, he is remembered for his work with the church choir as he was growing up.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Eward; three sons and one daughter; five grandchildren; a stepsister; and a niece, a nephew and numerous cousins in Indiana.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at the Fairchild Funeral Home in Ft. Lauderdale.
