Word has been received here of the death of Jerome Simpson, former resident of Barney who died April 17, 1934 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O. A. Coffman in Radcliffe. He was 76 years of age and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Simpson.
His marriage to Miss Ruby Loomis took place, January 10, 1895, and they were the parents of three children, two of whom survive him with the wife: Mrs. Coffman of Radcliffe and Mrs. Glen Lehman of Hubbard. He also leaves four grandchildren, five brothers and five sisters.
Mr. Simpson had resided in Madrid and funeral services were held there, and burial was in the Mt. Hope cemetery.
