Betsy Dawson Wall, 85, of Hopkinsville, KY died Monday, May 24, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Roaring Spring, KY, she was born September 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Almont Dawson, Sr. and Agnes Miller Dawson. She worked many years as a bookkeeper at Hopkinsville Savings and Loan Bank. After raising her children, she became the office manager at Jane Wall School of Dance where she touched many young lives. She was an active member of Roaring Springs Christian Church where she served in many compacities. She was also very active in the Men's Fellowship at Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Russell Wall, Sr; her son: Bobby Russell Wall, Jr; her two brothers: Almont Dawson, Jr. and Charles "Fox" Dawson; her two sisters: Mary Agnes Gaylord and Louise Thomas.
Survivors include her daughter: Renee (Frank) Wall Wade of Pembroke, KY; her son: William Murray Wall of Nashville, TN; her daughter-in-law: Melinda Wall of Murry, KY; her seven grandchildren: Trey Wall and Elizabeth Wall, Clint (Katie) Love and Lyndsey (Robert) Powell, Shelby Wall, Brenna Wall and Bill Wall; and her four great-grandchildren: Lucas Love, Kennedy Love, Evelyn Powell and Blakely Love.
