DURHAM - Mrs. Annie Lee Truitt Friedman, 80, died Sunday morning at Oak Summit Nursing Home in Winston-Salem following declining health.
Born in Jonesville, she was the daughter of the late Ruben A. and Cora Ann Sharp Truitt and wife of the late Robert Friedman.
Mrs. Friedman was a homemaker and member of Belews Creek United Church of Christ.
Surviving are her daughters, Jeannie Lee Friedman Kurani and Kathryn Ann Friedman Montgomery, both of Winston-Salem; a son, Robert Friedman of Durham; sisters Arlene Brown of New York state and Louise Ramsey of Tennessee; brothers Reuben Truitt of New Jersey and Randolph Truitt, John Truitt and George Truitt, all of North Carolina; and six grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Belews Creek United Church of Christ in Belews Creek by the Rev. Larry Williams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will accept friends at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. today. Clements Funeral Service in Durham is in charge of funeral arrangements and are being assisted by Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
