Alton Doyle Kelley, 85 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, May 16th, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Kelley was born on July 9th, 1935, to W.H. Kelley and Amy Brackeen Kelley.

Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife Jewel Kelley; daughter Diane Adams (Ricky); son Randall Kelley (Angie); stepson Jeff Worthy; stepdaughters Kayla Paul and Brenda Robinson; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; stepson Tim Worthy; brothers Ralph Kelley, Billy Kelley, Fred Kelley, Ronald Kelley, Donald Kelley, and Wayne Kelley; infant sister; half brother Jerry Kelly; and sister Freda Beckham.

Funeral services for Mr. Kelley will be Thursday, May 20th, 2021 at 11:00am at Berea Baptist Church with Pat Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00am at the church. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Kelley was a member of Berea Baptist Church. He was also a member of a bluegrass band, Madison County Ramblers.
