Ivan B. Owens, of Howerton, VA, formerly of Richmond, died Sunday, June 10, 1973.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy O. Farrar of Mechanicsville, Mrs. Jean O. Proctor of Richmond and Mrs. Jeanette O. Gilbert of woodbridge, VA; one son, Ivan V. Owens of Richmond; mother, Mrs. Virginia L. Owens of Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. Joyce O. Holzbach and Mrs. Virginia O. Rowe, both of Richmond and Mrs. Bernice O. West of Newport News; brothers, Russell L. Owens of Howertons, VA, and Reginald S. Owens of Highland Springs; also nine grandchildren. Remains rest at the Laburnum Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be in St. Stephens Baptist Church Cemetery.
