She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond M. Moran who passed away in 1999.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Dowling) Gorman.
She lived in Cranston before moving year-round to her summer home in Narragansett thirty-five years ago.
Ginny was an executive secretary with the former Narragansett Electric for several years before retiring. She was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Kingston. In her youth, she spent summers in Matunuck at Roy Carpenter's Beach and loved working at the Theater-by-the-Sea. She loved playing tennis and was an avid skier. She enjoyed volunteering and donated to numerous charities.
She is survived by three daughters, Doreen A. Dougherty and her husband Tom of West Roxbury, MA, Kathleen M. Rocchio and her husband Michael of Narragansett and Karen F. LaRoche (late husband Bob) of Narragansett and six grandchildren, Ryan and Brooke Dougherty, Nicholas and Cailyn Rocchio and Emma and Michael LaRoche. She was the sister of the late James "Lou" Gorman, Frances Rider, Mary Desrochers and Leo Gorman, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Interment followed in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
