William Wadale (Wade) Strother, age 56, of Brazoria, Texas passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Galveston, Texas. Wade Strother was born June 26, 1964 to William and Linda Strother in Bay City, Texas.

He was raised in Sweeny, Texas and was an Alumni of Sweeny High School, class of 1982.

With his passion for music, Wade spent many years writing, composing, and performing Gospel and Country Music. He spent six years pouring his love for music into his band Wade Strother and the Renegades. He was cherished by his family, friends, and fans.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Joyce Strother; and sister, Karla Kay Archer.

He is survived by his spouse, Kevin Carr; his son, Jarad Strother; daughters, Jada Davis (spouse, Chris Davis) and Jerica Jarnecke (spouse, Mark Jarnecke); brothers, Stoney Strother (spouse, Cristina Strother) and Ty Kilsby; granddaughter, Channing Elaine Strother; and his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Garrett, Brianna, Lincoln, Stormy, Shelby, Kodi, Morgan, Justin, Tyler, Ethan, Cody, and Parker.

A visitation with friends and loved ones will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas, with burial to follow at Sweeny Cemetery.
