Grace was born near Shady Nook, the sharp bend in M-88 between Central Lake and Eastport Michigan, daughter of James E Boice and Altha Wilkinson. She and her sister Mary were public school teachers and lived in Clovis CA. Their sister Gladys (Charles) Addington and her family lived nearby. The family moved to CA in 1918. My father's second cousins, I remember visiting them in 1954.

Miss Boice was a retired school teacher, having taught for 37 years, the last 15 years at Auberry Elementary School. She was born on a farm near Central Lake, Michigan. After graduating from Central Lake High School in 1918 her family moved to Fresno where she received her teaching credential from Fresno State Normal School. In 1981 she moved to Clovis. She requested remembrances be made to the Missions Fund of the Fellowship Bible Church, 2726 N Chestnut Fresno CA 93703. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clovis Funeral Home.
