James B. "Jim" Mayhew, 79, of Woodland, passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Mr. Mayhew was born May 5, 1941 in Clearfield, the son of Tascar and Lois (Goss) Mayhew.

On July 6, 1968 he wed the former Donna Marie Royer, with whom he shared many wonderful memories.

He was a truck driver by trade, retiring from Samuel J. Lansberry Trucking in 2006.

Jim was a faithful member of The Gospel Chapel Church for the past 39 years. There he served as Head Usher and Assistant Sunday School Superintendant for many of those years.

Along with his wife Jim is survived by his five children; James Jr. and his fiancée Jeannette of Ambridge, LeeAnn Fullwood and her fiancé Chris of Yorkanna, Timothy of Olanta, Mark of Woodland and Ross and his wife Evelyn of Clearfield, eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandsons and a sister Lucretia Hummel of Philipsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Carl Mayhew, a sister, Ethel Williams and an infant granddaughter, Nicole Renae.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Gospel Chapel Church with Pastor W. Lee Casher officiating. Interment will be in Stoneville Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday at the church from 12:00 PM until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Gospel Chapel Church, 300 Pleasant Valley Road, Woodland, PA 16881 or the charity of the donor's choice.
