MORRISDALE - Funeral services for Ethel M. Welker Williams, 81, of Morrisdale RD will be held Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Strange & Weaver Funeral Services, Morrisdale, with Pastor Fred Miller officiating.

Mrs. Williams died Sunday, May 6, at 6:30 p.m. at her residences.

Interment will be at Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday, May 9, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, May 10, from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.

Born May 13, 1930, at Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late Tascar Byron and Lois Mabel (Goss) Mayhew.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker.

She attended Summit Hill United Methodist Church, Morrisdale, RD.

On July 15, 1995, at Summit Hill United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Homer Smith officiating, she wed Harold Williams, who survives at Morrisdale.

Also surviving are a daughter, Geraldine Lois "Gerry" Lansberry and her husband, John, of West Decatur; a son, Harold L. Welker and his wife, Lyla, Of Mineral Springs, and stepsons, walter Williams and wife, Patty, and Omer Williams and wife, Bonnie, all of Morrisdale RD; four grandchildren, John E. Lansberry and wife, Kristi, Brent A. Welker, Jill M. Stewart and husband, Jim, and Dena L. Olson and husband, Joe; four great-grandchildren, Haley Marie Lansberry, Justine Kelly Stewart, Lindsey Taylor Olson and Lauren Joelle Olson; four step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

In addition, she is survived by a sister, Lucretia "Krish" Hummel and her husband, Ed, of Philipsburg; and two brothers, Carl Mayhew and wife, Tootie, of Erie and James Mayhew and wife, Donna, of Woodland.

In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold R. "Sog" Welker, in February 1988.
