Bob is survived by his wife of 40 years Theon Hess, a daughter Melissa Friday and husband Joe Friday, a son Robert E Hess II and wife Maria Hess, and a stepson Scott Anderson. He also leaves behind his 5 grandchildren Sheldon, Shae, Rochelle, Myahh and Hailey and 4 great grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Mamie Hess and his father Guy Hess. His brothers Guy Hess Jr., Bernell Hess, Barry Hess, and Larry Hess. A sister Nancy Stine. Grandsons Seth Seiple and Robert E Hess III.
Bob was employed with York International for 35 years. He then went on to be an electrician at Henry Electric over the past few years as well as being a woodworker on his free time.
A private ceremony will be held for family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Penn State Cancer Institute at 400 University Dr. Hershey, Pa. 17033.
