Following cremation at White Rose Crematorium, services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home and Crematorium, 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hess was born Dec. 8, 1948, in York. He was the son of Mamie E. (Dull) Hess of York and the late Guy W. Hess Sr.
He was a self-employed woodworker.
Mr. Hess also is survived by a daughter, Tina M. Hess of York; a grandson; three brothers, Guy W. Hess Jr. of Hamilton, Mont., Barry A. Hess Sr. of Stoverstown and Robert E. Hess of Windsor; and a sister, Nancy A. Stine of Dover.
