Evelyn 'Doris' Coker Lambright

A celebration of Life for Evelyn 'Doris' Coker Lambright will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2021 in the First United Pentecostal Church with Reverends Tim Kelley, Lee Spikes and Greg Willis officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Doris,83, of Oakdale, received her angel wings on Friday, April 16, 2021 in her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 1, 1937 in Oakdale to the union of Seburn Coker and Estelle (Strother) Coker.

She was a lifetime member of the First United Pentecostal Church, in which she worked in the Sunday School Department as a teacher, always helping in the kitchen and never turned down helping around the church when asked. Doris never met a stranger and welcomed everyone that came into her home with that beautiful smile. Her children were her life, after God, and no matter what came her way, she always saw the best in the situation. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, L.C. Lambright; one daughter, Deborah Ann Lambright; one son, Jerry Lynn Lambright; her parents, Seburn and Estelle Coker; one sister, Helen West; four brothers, J.C. Coker,bAuthor Coker, Howard Coker and Jimmy Ray Coker.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are four sons, Larry C. Lambright of Oakdale,
L.C. Lambright, Jr. of Oakdale, James L. Lambright of Magnolia, Arkansas and John W. Lambright, Sr. of Oakdale: three daughters, Faith R. (Darren) Crager of Oakdale, Mary A. Willis of Oakdale and Becky (Bob) Gilliam of Camden, Tennessee; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; along with ahost of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be John Lambright, Jr., Justin Willis, Gerrick Willis, Noah Zantz, Chase Lambright and Dylan Viscardis.

Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Chris, Cayden, Connor, Caleb and Remington Gilliam.

Visitation will be held in the White Oaks Memorial Church on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 3 p.m. until 11 a.m., Monday, April 19,2021; then visitation will resume in the First United Pentecostal Church from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. in the church.
