Mrs. Hannah Gillen, 84, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital Sunday morning at 2:30 o'clock. She resided formerly with her son, Charles Gillen, 1110 Osborne Avenue.
Born Sept. 20, 1861, at Byron, Wis., she was married to Charles Gillen who preceded her in death Feb. 1, 1933. Mrs. Gillen was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
The only immediate survivor is the son, Charles. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning with a short service at 8:30 o'clock at the Sitter Funeral Home and at 9 o'clock at St. John's Church. The Rev. John Murphy will officiate. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call this evening and until the hour of the services at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:30 o'clock at the funeral home.
