Jewell P. Miller, of Bellefontaine passed away Monday at the OSU Medical Center.

On January 1, 1980 in Plainfield, IN., she married Paul R. Miller, who preceded her in death in 2009.

Jewell graduated from Plainfield High School in 1952. After high school she worked for the state of Indiana as a secretary in the state house. She later worked for Public Service Utilities in Plainfield, IN; retiring as a key punch operator. Jewell enjoyed going out to eat, especially to Bob Evans and Wendy's. Allen; her parents, Jack and Pearlie Mae (McKinney) Retherford; siblings: Harry M. Retherford, Ethel B. Kobelak, Dorothy Mae Wolf, William Retherford, Howard Retherford, Earl Retherford, Margaret Lyon, Lois Bombei, and Esther Retherford.
