Death of Baby Stone.
The little five months old child of F. L. and M. A. Stone passed from this world to the one beyond Tuesday morning last at 9:30 o'clock. The little one was ailing the evening before but it did not seem to be of a serious nature and Tuesday seemed more playful. Mr. Stone went to his work in the morning but was summoned by the illness about 9 o'clock and before he could reach home the death angel had claimed him as its own. Funeral services were held at residence, in East Galena, Wednesday forenoon, Rev. Thos. Pingry of the M. E. church, officiating, after which a large number of sympathizing friends followed the remains to the city cemetery for interment.
