She is survived by her children Melinda Oneal, Richard & Linda McAuley, Robert & Shirley McAuley; grandchildren Cassie & Joseph Peters, Rachel Comer, Ruthann & Matthew Formica, Stephen & Sarah McAuley, Daniel & Stephanie McAuley, Chris & Stephanie McAuley, Eric & Amanda McAuley; great grandchildren Natalia, Ethan, Mason, Wesley, Zach, Sydney, Andrew, Theodore, Lydia, Gabriella, Emma, Myla, Alyssa, Landon, Finn, Meadow; sister Connie Workman; sisters-in-law Eleanor and Maxine Hitchman; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Roxana was a faithful prayer warrior. She always wanted to know who needed prayer and was always asking about the status of people she had been praying for. She was an active participant in the Epaphras Intercessors prayer ministry, always praying for her family, the church family and for missionaries throughout the world. She loved to read and study God’s word and regularly attended the Monday morning Bible study for more than 30 years. An avid reader she was also a recent member of the church book club.

She was very patriotic and always proud of her son and grandsons military service and always concerned for and praying for their safety. A special blessing to her was when her husband Rich was honored as Butler’s Veteran of the Year.

Roxana was a founding member of the Clearfork Alliance church of Bellville, Ohio. She loved watching birds and was especially fond of Humming birds and woodpeckers. She enjoyed reading all types of good books, loved flowers, especially roses. She liked to go out to look at the moon when it was full, an activity she and Richard did throughout their 65 years of marriage. She was thoughtful and considerate of others sending cards and letters to express her sympathy or a note of encouragement. She rarely ever missed a Birthday, Anniversary, special occasion card for all of her friends and family until February of this year.

The McAuley family will invite friends to call Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 4-7 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home.
