CROSBY- Ralph Burnett ("Bing"), peacefully on October 24, 2009 at the age of 84 years at the Welland Hospital. Beloved husband for 61 years of Isabelle (Reid). Son of the late Horton and Bertha Crosby of Richmond, Yarmouth, Co., N.S. Pre-deceased by his son Wayne (2007), brothers Vernon, Edgar, Robert, Donald, Knowles and sister Bertha (Ellis). Survived by sister Sarah ("Seddie") Balser and grand-daughter Leanne. Ralph served in the RCAF 1942 - 1946 in Canada and England. He was a life member of Port Colborne Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 56 for over 55 years and was a Past Vice-President. He was also a member of the INCO "Quarter Century Club", a member of the Port Colborne Golf & Country Club 1966 - 1992 and enjoyed darts and gardening. At his request, a memorial service will not be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Private internment at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill, Ontario. Family members extend their sincere appreciation to the medical staff at the Welland Hospital for their professional, sincere and empathetic treatment and support. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES.
