Wanda Rose White, 77, of Gosport, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospice House. She was born in Bloomington, IN on December 8, 1943 to James and Ephra (White) Abbitt.
Wanda married Warren H. White in 1962. She was a longtime member of the McCormick’s Creek United Pentecostal Church. Wanda was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She liked traveling with her husband, gardening, baking and sewing. Wanda loved shopping especially for her grandchildren.
Wanda is survived by her children, Tina Sullivan (Daniel) of Spencer, Forrest E. White of Gosport and Angela Lane (Bryan) of Spencer; three siblings, Madeline, Pam and Daniel; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Warren in 2011, and six siblings.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 15, 2021 at McCormick’s Creek United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Adam Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Chambersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
